Ravi was taking forever to grow it seemed, but there wasn't much she could do other than keep forging ahead. He was a weird little guy, she had to give him that much, but she didn't know what else to do with him. At least he was curious she figured with a little frown as she pulled more branches to her. Whatever she had to do to get this garden figured out she seemed, though she wasn't too sure what she wanted to get done today other than that. It was still fairly cold, maybe coming back in the summer would be the better bet, it's not like it would really hurt anything, right? The little fossil animal shook his head a little and stared at what she was doing, though she didn't know what to do with him of course. It was a lot to be unsure and wary of, though she wasn't afraid at least.

Ravi continued to chitter after she went back over and fastened his lead to the table again, with a loop around one of his ankles so he couldn't fly off, not like he really could to begin with though. Jack sighed a little and glared at him a bit, she wasn't sure what she was going to do with him, how big was he going to be after all this was finished anyway? A wince crossed her face as she thought of all the nutrients she had for him, a lot of fat and a lot of sugar. If Bigfoot was any example, Ravi would end up being really big and really fast, it was almost a terrifying thought, but at the same time she was pretty excited for it too. Shaking her head, the woman tossed some more wood into the chipper and watched the chips fly into the wheelbarrow she had set up next to it.

Eh, she wasn't too worried about how Ravi was going to grow though she figured, but what did she really want to do with a massive bird? Jack popped her neck a little and then chucked a few more sticks and logs into the chipper. What was she going to do with him, and what would she ever find in this garden right now? If she came back in the summer, then she would be overwhelmed by an overgrowth in the garden again, but at least she would be warm, which was so much better than cold. Ugh, this was hard, but she had to hold strong for a little while longer she thought with a bit of a sigh. Ravi chirped and glared at her, but she just frowned at him and shook her head. This wasn't fun anymore, she would have to come back later, but this was annoying either way she thought.

Jack stretched out her shoulders while she waited for the chipper to finish up the last few logs she had tossed in. Yeah, she was done for today, while it was easy to not overheat, it was also hard to stay warm sometimes too. Moving helped of course, but still, and Ravi seemed to be getting a little cold as well, couldn't stand for that to happen, not with him being so little. Giving a little sigh, she switched off the chipper and started moving everything around to where they needed to go. The chipper belonged to the community of the gardens, so that went back to the shed it was stored in, while everything else was put back into place in her own area of the gardens. The woman unclipped the lead connected to Ravi from the table and wrapped it around her wrist before picking him up. Time to go home, she was done for the day.

Harvesting Maybe this wasn't such a good idea, Jack figured as she stared across the vast disarray of the garden. She'd decided to take a break for a few months and just focus on the garden when she came back, but... she kind of regretted it now. A heavy sigh escaped her and she rubbed her face, what was she going to do? Jack dropped her bag on the table next to the entrance and scowled at the garden before something shot out of the bramble straight toward her. An oof escaped her as she snagged the thing coming at her, and she started when she saw it was Yina, her Whiptail Vinesnatcher. Yina gnashed her jaws and hissed, tail whipping this way and that as she tried to get loose again. Jack cooed at her and rubbed her back for a little while until she calmed down enough for her to feel safe putting her back onto the ground. This was summer wasn't it? Yina probably had babies hanging around somewhere... [1 Jack: 11/20 Yina: 27 1/5]

"Okay okay," Jack said, patting her on the head a little. Yina was close enough to her to not attack her, at least not much, but Jack was still wary around the Whiptail. Shaking her head a little, she looked around as she knelt by the creature and tried to see if she could find anything nearby. Maybe this was too much work, but Jack really had no idea. She liked the wild nature her garden usually took on, maybe she should just thin it out a little and make sure that things continued as they were, that might not be a bad idea. It was hard telling sometimes, though maybe not a bad thing, and she nodded a little as Yina snapped at a buzzing fly, wincing a little as she gulped it down without issue. Well... the babies were pretty cute, had to give them that much she figured with a little sigh.

"No idea what to do, any clues yourself?" Jack asked the Whiptail with a raised eyebrow. Yina yawned widely and gave her a strange glare, considering they didn't seem to have eyes. The woman sighed a little and surveyed the area, trying to figure out if she could find any smaller ones, little ones she could take with her. Yina was a good mother... for a small amount of time at least. A chuckle escaped her and she patted the weird plant critter on the back again and then started to shift around the bramble near her. If she was going to get anything, she had to get a good look at things for now. As she began to pull the bramble, she was glad she finally managed to remember to get the wheelbarrow and wood chipper beforehand this time. Ah well, it gave her a break to go get more things to work with, but still, she needed to work.

All she could do was rub her face for a moment before she pulled on a pair of gloves and started to haul more bramble and bushes out of the area around her, tossing them near the wheelbarrow and the wood chipper, trying to be careful as she worked though, so she didn't disturb anything that might be living or growing there for the moment. Her eyes took in everything they could, and the Whiptail gnashed at the air around her as well, still looking a little agitated, as though something was wrong but the woman couldn't figure out what it was. Maybe she wanted her offspring to go away finally, that could very well be it. Giving a small chuckle, Jack nodded a bit and made a face at the critter, "At least you're good for now though I suppose." Yina hissed again and shook her head, flicking her tail a little as she stalked around.

As long as she had some work, she would be alright she figured with a small yawn. Jack shook her head a little and watched as Yina seemed to sniff around a little, trying to figure out what she could do to find some of the offspring there. The woman tilted her head a little and then shrugged, pulling out another dead bush. It had been too long since she had really set into it and done what needed to be done, but this was the plan so far. Yina sniffed again and shook her head, she didn't know what she wanted to do after it was all done, but she didn't want it super clean and clear either. The gardens needed a little wild to them a little in order to feel more natural she figured. At least she had some work, and at least she had some kind of plan. For now she just wanted to get to the gazebo she had built awhile back.

So strange, no little ones yet... but that didn't mean much she figured. Usually Yina produced pretty well for her, but it didn't really matter, at least she had a little more time to work on the bushes and everything that were around them. The Whiptail hissed a little and lashed her tail around as she stalked around the brambles, and Jack knew there had to be some little ones around there somewhere with the way she was hovering, but there wasn't much to find just yet. Maybe some of them were a little greener than they could be at times, she even had a gold one back at the Kennel. Stretching out a little, the woman shrugged and patted her on the head before chucking some more bushes into the wood chipper. She wasn't sure how much she was going to get out of this, but it was worth it she thought, she figured other people needed mulch and everything.

Yina wasn't sure where they had all run off to, but she was getting a bit mad at the small ones she had made this time. She wasn't sure what all happened, had they all been thinned out at this point? Another hiss, she wasn't sure what to do at the moment and she didn't know what she needed to do for the moment. Well, as long as at least one of them survived, she supposed it wouldn't be a terrible thing, she just hoped the woman who had brought her here would find it before one of the other, bigger animals did. Jack glanced at her as she hissed again and gave a little frown, she didn't know what she wanted from the woman, but she was sure there was something on the Whiptail's mind. Maybe she should figure out how to talk to her or something, but... that probably wouldn't happen ever, would it?

Ah... this was getting too hard she thought, she didn't know what to do with everything right now. What all could she do with the garden this time she wondered? There were so many dead bushes and everything, she didn't know where to go after this was finished up, if she ever managed to do it, that was. Weeping willows would be beautiful she thought with a smile, but they took so much water it was insane. It was hard to believe, but the Labs could go through droughts at times. What was she doing to do with everything... Another frown as she looked at Yina and shook her head. What was going to happen, she wondered, if she couldn't get a little one off of her this year? Ah well, it didn't really matter in the long run, it's not like life would end if she didn't get a small Whiptail off of her this time. There would be more years after all.
