Jack sighed a little and then grabbed another bush, giving a small growl as she felt a deep burn on her upper arm as she tossed it into the wood chipper. It started shooting into the wheelbarrow, a little red coming through as well, it had a large, sharp thorn that had torn through her arm, it looked pretty back. Giving a little hiss, she glanced at the Whiptail to see if there was any other colors around her for a moment before heading over to the table and searching around in her bag making sure none of the blood that was dripping from her would end up inside of it. Inside was some antiseptic, gauze, and a long rolled bandage. Jack sat down and poured some of the antiseptic on the gauze and bit her lip for a moment, sure she might draw blood. The actual wound wouldn't hurt much after it was done, but the initial cleaning of it always did.

Ugh, this always hurt, she thought as she dabbed at the wound with the gauze. Yina heard her hissing and came over, putting a paw on her leg, sharp little claws digging in without her meaning to. Jack didn't get onto her though, at least she seemed like she cared at the moment. Taking a deep breath, she made sure the wound was disinfected well enough and then wrapped the bandage around it, holding some fresh gauze onto the actual wound itself so she didn't just bleed through the bandage. Giving a grunt, she looked at her arm, the entirety of her upper right arm was bandaged, it had cut from just below her shoulder and then curved a little to the inside of her elbow. "Fantastic," she grumbled, frowning a little. Sure, she supposed she could heal up if she wanted, but that was too much energy right now, and it's not like it was an emergency anyway.

Grumbling to herself a little, she rotated her arm a bit to make sure she still had relatively full range of motion before standing up and packing the items back into her bag. The ones she had ruined, or well... used, she would burn and tossed them into the barrel she used for that. There, all done she figured as she looked down at Yina. The Whiptail had gotten back onto all fours when the woman stood up and tilted her head back at her for a moment before trundling off again for a little bit, though still within sight. Jack yawned a little and stretched her arms over her head one more time before pulling her gloves back on and switching on the wood chipper again. She had turned it off before cleaning her wound, it just made sense, just in case something happened with one of the animals and they tried to get curious.

So far she had come across a couple of golden lavender at least, and she made sure the sprigs she had plucked were over on the table after it was all said and done. She just hoped everything would work out and she would get a few things done soon, there wasn't much else she could really do at the moment anyway. Jack patted Yina on the head as the Whiptail came back over, and then she pulled another bush out of the ground. Oh that hurt a little... The woman winced and glanced at her bandaged arm, expecting to see a bit of blood seeping through after that, but it looked like her work had held up and it didn't seem to get through the gauze, at least not yet. "Oh well, nothing like a new scar I guess," she sighed, looking at Yina with a little smile. At least she wasn't alone.

Pretty soon she figured it would be time to leave, but she didn't think it really mattered after everything was said and done. All she could really think of was getting this work done and then leaving it for awhile, maybe the gardens were meant to be overgrown? Eh, a little, but not as much as they had gotten to be, she figured with a small nod. Of course it didn't really matter what she thought, as long as she worked. A chuckle escaped her, well, at least she didn't have to think too hard at the moment. Stifling a small yawn, adrenaline finally wearing off a bit, Jack glanced around for a moment and then plucked a pretty purple flower. She raised it to her face and breathed in the scent with a little smile, she liked the outdoors, or at least the gardens quite a bit, she really didn't get out here often enough. Yina hissed and thrashed her tail, something was needed.

Giving another hiss, Yina seemed pretty insistent. Jack frowned and switched off the chipper again before giving a small nod, "Alright, what's up?" The Whiptail nosed around some soft ground for a moment before something blue popped out, giving a small hiss with a wide mouth. A laugh escaped her and she reached down, plucking it off of the ground by the back of its neck. Well this was a pleasant surprise! "You know, I think you're the last color I know about too..." she told it, tickling it under its chin. Turning around, patting Yina on the head and cooing at her as she moved, Jack took the little wyrmling over to the table and tucked it into a small pocket pet carrier. She usually didn't use them, but hey, these little guys were usually pretty aggressive until they got to know you. "You'll be alright little one, just gotta get to your siblings at some point," Jack told it with a smile.

"Is that the only surprise you have right now?" Jack asked Yina with a smile, rubbing the Whiptail's head for a little while and stroking her back. Yina gave a content look and the woman took that as an affirmative. The chipper was turned back on and she chucked another bush into it, looking on with satisfaction as it was chopped up by the machine. The wheelbarrow was actually getting pretty full, and she wondered when she would have to take it to the chip pile in the common area of the gardens. There wasn't much point in keeping it all to herself, and since the chipper was community property as well, it was only right to give some of the results to anyone else who might need it. Another bush was torn up and she made sure to get as much soil out of the roots as she could before feeding it into the chipper as well, this area was starting to look a little better at least.
